Welcome to my website. I am a Brass, Woodwind and Music Theory Teacher, based in Surrey near Heathrow, I teach in schools and provide private lessons.
CURRENT
I teach students of all age’s brass, woodwind and music theory; from complete beginners to more experienced players.
Students from 6 to 70+ years of age enjoy my organised and calm approach to teaching.
Lessons are focused on developing the students whilst enjoying every lesson through new music encouraging both playing and reading music.
CHOOSE FROM THE FOLLOWING INSTRUMENTS AND/OR MUSIC THEORY
Brass;
Cornet, Trumpet, Flugal Horn, Tenor Horn, Trombone and Euphonium
Woodwind;
Soprano, Alto and Tenor Saxophone , Clarinet, Descant and treble recorder
Music Theory;
Students can choose to take ABRSM music theory exams
BANDS:-
Simply Music Community Band;
I am the founder and musical director of Simply Music Community Band; a band of amateur musicians who perform in the local community and schools. Student members were invited to the National Orchestra for All 2014 Summer School; which concluded with a performance by all 200 summer school students to a 3000+ audience at Leeds Arena; AMAZING!
School;
My school wind-band took part in the 2011 and 2012 Music for Youth festivals.
Outer Limits Function Band;
I am a member of Outer Limits Function band; an eight piece band that performs all types of music from the 40’s to present day.
BACKGROUND
I have over 25 years experience playing different genres of music which include, brass bands, military band, wind band, function and jazz bands.
ARRANGER
I arrange all the music performed by my community and school bands; enabling all players from beginners to grade 8 to take part.
